Chris Taggart
I’m a freelance photographer with 25 years of experience, which basically means I’ve been professionally telling people to “act natural” while lying on the floor for the perfect angle since the late '90s. My career has taken me everywhere—from dimly lit basements to high-profile events—and I’ve learned to adapt faster than a chameleon at a disco. I’m equal parts artist, problem-solver, and pack mule (have you seen how much gear we carry?). I specialize in capturing real moments with a sharp eye, a steady hand, and just enough sarcasm to keep everyone smiling. If you need someone who can direct a chaotic shoot like a seasoned general while cracking jokes and finding the light in any situation—literally and figuratively—I’m your person.
I continue to work with corporations, universities, hospitals and other institutions throughout the region. Honing my skills, and having a community of unparalleled clientele. Combined with my curiosity, empathy and photographic eye, I document and create visual descriptions of life. When I'm not taking pictures you'll likely find me exploring the city on my bicycle with camera in hand (say hi!)
